170KM IN ELECTRIC MODE AND A PARODY THAT TOOK US EVEN FURTHER.
In mid-2023, the Haval H6 was the only one among hybrids with up to 170 km of autonomy in electric mode. While competitors, on average, traveled up to 57km.
To communicate this important differential at the pre-launch moment of the model in Brazil, we revived the classic Varig jingle from the 90s to create a version adapted to today's automotive sector reality. And thus, we joked about the fact that people had to stop to recharge their vehicle batteries every 57km.
This hit stuck in consumers' heads and marked the brand's debut on TikTok.
The campaign took over social media and went viral in the form of memes, in WhatsApp groups, satirizing the low autonomy in electric mode of some competing plug-in hybrid vehicles.
The film was produced by Untitled with direction by Figas and musical direction by Vox Haus.
